stuck to you

Today I toc'd at the elementary school from my last job. As I was leaving at the start of lunch, one of my grade one girls from last year was following me down the hall and outside. I felt bad for having to rush off and as I said "Au Revoir" she looked up at me and said: "Madame, I don't know why, but I'm just stuck to you like glue today". How sweet is that?
