Mundane excitement

Today I bought gas for under $1 a litre! How exciting is that? My good ole Tercel was only 37$ to fill. She has gotten us around on many trips over the last 5 years or so since we bought her. She made it through a winter in Dawson Creek, driving back and forth from DC to Port Alberni, and all the way to Saskatoon. We often complain about the cost of gas and vehicles, but I sure can't. This little car was definitely one of our best investments. She was less than 5 grand. We drove to Vancouver this summer, when gas prices were high, for $95. And, we've never had to change anything major since we bought it. I think I will be forever hooked on Toyotas. I'll be sad when I have kids and Tercel can no longer fit the family, but hopefully I'll be able to pass her along again!
