Happy BC Day long weekend!
For those of you who aren't in BC, sorry, but we're enjoying a sunny three day weekend here! It's friday, and Mike and I have the weekend off together, so we're going to practice our very amateur golf skills at the pitch and putt, then out for dinner. Tomorrow we'll be participating in a Park Hunt (a youth event at our church where the leaders dress up in various disguises, and the youth have to search for us all in Beacon Hill Park). It should be fun, although I haven't yet completed my disguise. I was thinking of putting on my wedding dress and pretending that I was having wedding photography done in the park, or perhaps dressing up like a pregnant woman and borrowing a friend's maternity clothes. After the park hunt, we're off to stay at a beautiful B&B in Sooke, called the Hartmann House,( in the honeymoon suite and everything), which is exciting. Still have to make dinner reservations for while we're there though. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to no homework and lots of sunshine. Summer isn't over yet!
